About
I graduated from the Whanganui School of Design in 2014 with a Masters of Computer Graphic Design. After a short contract role at a local design agency, I joined Liquid Edge where I worked until 2021. Since mid-2022 I've been at PS/digital as a Senior Developer.
I work with a number of platforms and technologies:
- CMS development with WordPress, WooCommerce, Silverstripe, and DatoCMS
- Frontend development with Next.js, React, and TypeScript
- Backend development with Node.js, Express, and Hono
- Database and backend-as-a-service with Supabase
- Mobile app development with React Native
In my personal work I like to explore the collision of lo and hi tech; combining modern tools with traditional techniques to create my print work — for example, cutting woodblocks on my CNC router or stencils on my laser cutter.
Outside of work I spend time mountain biking, tramping, trail running and working on house projects — and keeping my dog Fergus well exercised.
